FYI Both server and client have recently been port in IPv6 and now are available in Debian/Sid. The server can stream video read from a hard disk, a DVD player, a satellite card or an MPEG2 compression card. The client can read networks stream, DVDs, VCDs, MPEG file and from a satellite card locally under Linux, Windows, Mac OS X, BeOS, BSD, Solaris, QNX, iPaq... to install the client: apt-get install vlc to install the server: apt-get install vls More information and last tarballs are available on http://www.videolan.org/ Happy IPv6 streaming!
