IPv6 problem of an IPv4 user (part 2)

The problem seems to have gone away after I downgraded in.telnetd 
on the gateway by installing telnetd_0.16-4potato.1.deb. It shakes 
my confidence in apt-get dist-upgrade to "stable" a bit.

A bug, a feature, or something I omitted doing when upgrading from 
potato to woody?
