Hello, as many ppl are probably aware of, the X11 IPv6 test release from Fabio broke Umlauts and keyboards badly. Now I thought I had gone back to X from testing/unstable and have also deinstalled xlibs-data and xlibs and re- installed the normal one. While doing that it was overwriting some files and I seem to remember that when I first tested the IPv6 X11 packages it asked for a lot of file changes.
Now can anyone give me a hint how I can get back my umlauts in X now that all packages are back to normal again but some files (which files?) are still the 4.3 version, it seems? Can I delete some directory and re- install xlibs.deb again? Any idea highly welcome, believe me... A cc: would be appreciated as I can then read the mails from work, too. Regards, Alexander
