... which shouldn't hurt, right? But what is annoying you is that you still don't get 2001:4d48:ad51:300::1/56 added to the interface -- correct? Learning from Bjørn Mork's statement, I just did a capture of the PPPoE traffic and understood that my provider (rh-tec.de) is apparently doing The Right Thing and speaks SLAAC within the PPP link, replying to my operating system's request on the freshly brought up pppX interface.
