Hi,

I'm currently testing ipv6 only networks and services to find things that needs
fixing, and when trying to install Debian Trixie using a IPv6 only network with
SLAAC configuration the installation fails to detect a network. If i exit to a
shell i can ping both the default gateway as well as the two DNS servers that
are running in the local /64 network. If I manually set the DNS servers in
resolve.conf then I can ping and resolve things on the internet but the
installer still does not detect internet and can only install the base OS.

So it looks to me like the installer fails to set the DNS correctly when using
a pure SLAAC network. (Once installed the system has no issue running on a
SLAAC only network and the dns gets configured as expected).

Anyone here that can update the installer to support DNS over SLAAC? This is
the netinstall image by the way.

Best regards,

Thomas
