I have a problem in mysql ...............
I installed php3 , mysql and apache
I run mysql server like that
/usr/local/mysql/support-files/mysql.server start
and it works but when I run #mysql it gives me an error message
ERROR 2002: Cant connect to local MySQL server through socket
'/var/run/mysqld/mysqld.sock' (111)
and i check for mysqld.sock under that directories there is no such that
socket
But I find a socket under /tmp/mysql.sock but it looks for mysqld.sock
I can not understant could somebody help me please
