Hi all, I realise this list is probably not related to this problem but couldn't work out where else to send it....
Samba seems to be returning these errors below simultaneously with errors on the client machine (Windows 2000 "\\xxxxxx\xx_xxxx_x is unavailable at this stage" whils't trying to save to the device) however does actually save the file (possibly the filename format?) . It would appear that the errors are occuring when the samba share has timed out and is attempting to re-establish a connection. Samba log file errors: [2002/07/03 15:17:20, 0] smbd/oplock.c:oplock_break(761) oplock_break: receive_smb timed out after 30 seconds. oplock_break failed for file aaaaa_aaaaa/aaaa_aaaa_aaaa/aaaa/a-aaa.a-aa_aaaaa-aaa/aaaaa/ aaa.aaa aaaaaa aaa aaaaa 2002-06-30.doc (dev = 855, inode = 1425583, file_id = 2871). [2002/07/03 15:17:20, 0] smbd/reply.c:reply_lockingX(4388) reply_lockingX: Error : oplock break from client for fnum = 7053 and no oplock granted on this file ( aaaaa_aaaaa/aaaa_aaaa_aaaa/aaaa/a-aaa.a-aa_aaaaa-aaa/aaaaa/aaa.aaa aaaaaa aaa aaaaa 2002-06-30.doc). Syslog Errors: ypserv[391]: refused connect from $IP:Port to procedure ypproc_match Has anyone seen these before or can you point me to the right mailing list? I am not entirely sure that they are related errors just bundled all the errors being seen together. Thanks heaps Andy -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to [EMAIL PROTECTED] with a subject of "unsubscribe".
