It's doable on 2.4.x with DNAT as far i know eg.
iptables -t nat -A PREROUTING -p tcp -d your_old_mail_server_ip \
        --dport 25 -j DNAT --to your_new_mailserver_ip:25

so upgrading to 2.4.x would be my suggestion.
