what is postNuke for?

Hello,   I have to develop a web site with web services like forum�s, ftp services, mail services, etc. Something like web site http://groups.msn.com/   Is postNuke my tool  to develop this?   Where can i found informati�n about it�s posibilities, and funcionalities. ? Is there any other option in Linux?   Thaks!
