Ciao ho modificato alcune parti del tuo xorg.conf in base alle
informazioni trovate nel xorg.log
Da quello che ho capito hai un monitor 17' BenQ FP731[1] e una
Radeon 9800 Pro [2]
con porte vga/dvi/stv[3]
non so quanto possa servire, ma tentare non costa nulla.
Comunque una distro live l'hai provata?
Se funziona puoi provare a vedere le impostazioni video che hanno
usato e usare quelle.
