C'è stato un "bug" dovuto unicamente alla parte closed di dropbox, vedi qui i dettagli http://bugs.debian.org/cgi-bin/bugreport.cgi?bug=734628
come scritto lì, prova # rm -rf /var/lib/dropbox/.dropbox-dist $ dropbox start -i (nei comandi che hai trascritto sembra che tu abbia provato ad avviare dropbox da root.
