Ho trovato un howto che dovrebbe descrivere la procedura corretta per usare gmail con postfix, ma questo howto non e' specifico per debian e, soprattutto, non funziona... Dopo aver installato tutto, e aver generato i certificati con openssl, aver installato starttls (che non so se serva, nella descrizione si parla di emacs, comunque l'ho installato), ecco quello che ottengo quando postfix tenta di spedire a gmail la posta:
