Salve, nella mia macchina ho una sarge con kernel 2.4, ed un ataraid di questo tipo:

Promise Fasttrak(tm) Softwareraid driver for linux version 0.03beta Ho ricompilato il kernel al 2.6.11.12, ma anche abilitando ogni supporto Raid, l'ataraid non viene montato (non bootstrappa per niente..). Ho letto in giro che non verrà più supportato a livello kernel, ma bisognerà utilizzare soluzioni software quali device-mapper. Si parla anche di dmraid, ne sapete qualcosa?
