Io ho un Dell 8600 che ha il touchpad ALPS. Credo sia piu` o meno la stessa cosa. Se usi un kernel >2.6.11 (io uso il 2.6.14) puoi installare il pacchetto xfree86-driver-synaptics (o simile, sto andando a memoria). Il driver synaptics per X riconosce anche le ALPS. In /usr/share/doc/xfree....synaptics trovi un README.alps per la configurazione di tutte le funzioni.
