This is somewhat similar to bug #81912, although that reported that one non-ASCII character followed by one ASCII character did display correctly. Last time I looked at that, it was related to the jgroff patch, but at the time I couldn't see how to fix it without breaking Japanese ... -- Colin Watson [EMAIL PROTECTED]
