Use Anthy + UIM or SCIM for the best experience. The easiest solution to get it all running on login is to make a .xsession file in your home, then insert bits you want in there. Mine looks like this: export LC_CTYPE=ja_JP.UTF-8 export [EMAIL PROTECTED] export GTK_IM_MODULE=uim uim-xim& startkde You might have to change your 'session type' in your display manager to get it to run your .xsession. If you want the input server to be running at the display manager, or for all users you'll probably have to dig around in /etc. Cheers, Daniel -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to [EMAIL PROTECTED] with a subject of "unsubscribe".
