Since a few days ago, the OpenStreetmap.org editor josm is now in
Debian/unstable. It seem to limp along with jamvm, but there are some
glitches. It work completely with SUN Java.

Anyone got an idea what is wrong with the menu and uploading, as
reported in < URL:http://bugs.debian.org/472285 >.

What is the current best practice with java wrapper scripts these
days? The current version is very simple, and just uses the java
alternative. Is there a better way, when some JVMs work better than
others?

Happy hacking,
