AFAIK binNMUs won't work for most java packages. 1. They work for languages where API (source level compatibilty) and ABI (binary compatibility) are not the same. You will binMNU a package whenever the ABI of a library changes but its API is still compatible. Please correct me if I'm wrong, but there is no such difference in java. 2. You cannot binNMU an Architecture: all package but java packages are usually of Architecture: all.
