The java2-common package, now requested for removal, contains some stuff
not in java-common. It should be looked at, and whatever is useful for
java-common, should be integrated in java-common.
This is a reminder bug.

I am closing this bug now, since java2-common was removed (/requested
for removal) 4 years ago and nothing new has been added to the report
since then.
