The package has been dropped from the NEW queue.
I modified the package to simply enable the alternative VM by adding the
-dcevm option to the java command (this will require a trivial
modification of the openjdk-7 package, see #748625).
I renamed it to openjdk-7-jre-dcevm and relocated the Git repository to:
git://anonscm.debian.org/pkg-java/openjdk-7-jre-dcevm.git
It's now ready to be uploaded again.
