Hi Stephen, Try downloading the tarball directly from: http://ftp.de.debian.org/debian/pool/main/m/maven/maven_3.0.5.orig.tar.xz If you are fetching the sources with debcheckout I suggest adding DEBCHECKOUT_SOURCE=always to ~/.devscripts, this will always download the upstream tarball. git-buildpackage doesn't generate a tarball with the correct checksum.
