Hi, I am packaging Scala 3, so I am taking this bug as an ITP.

It is built without sbt: once from upstream's pinned 3.8.4 compiler, then by itself. It needs scala-2.13 and jline4 (ITPs https://bugs.debian.org/1149766 and https://bugs.debian.org/1149767) and sbt-compiler-interface (https://bugs.debian.org/1139639).
