LondonMarketing have a new opportunity for an experienced Head System Administrator
to manage and evolve their web services infrastructure.
This is a key role in a growing business. Candidates must have at least 5 years of system admin
and team management experience and demonstrable track record of delivering successful projects.
Our systems are proudly open sourced based, with a high availability and Debian based web server
cluster powering one of London's most popular websites, LondonTown.com.
Personal and business skills are just as important as a serious technical knowledge. Strong communication
and team management skills, sense of humour and desire to absolutely love your work, are essential.
We are looking for a team leader with vision, solid methodology and the ability to team leader.
Our candidate will need at least 5 years of *nix sysadmin experience, good coding skills, and should have worked
in a web service provision environment.
We expect knowledge of firewalls (Iptables), routing, email (Exim), MySql, Apache, PHP, Java and the usual nitty gritty.
This is a demanding role requiring a positive, highly energised individual who is looking for a challenge.
