Well, it turned out to be trivial to download, fix up my packaging, build, test & upload the new Debian package, so ... For now, you can snag the new version from http://people.debian.org/~synrg/ Or you can just wait for it to get into unstable/sid and onto your fave mirror (shouldn't be more than a couple of days).
