Ivan (et al), I have been attempting to compile the KDE2 source packages for powerpc. lcms, libmng, liqt2.2_2.2.2, and kdelibs3 (I still need to upload kdelibs3) went well, however, when I attempt to compile kdebase, I get the following error:
g++ -DHAVE_CONFIG_H -I. -I. -I.. -I/usr/include/kde -I/usr/lib/qt2/include -I/usr/X11R6/include -I/opt/kde2/include/kde -O2 -fno-exceptions -fno-check-new -Wall -pedantic -W -Wpointer-arith -Wmissing-prototypes -Wwrite-strings -Wno-long-long -fno-builtin -DQT_CLEAN_NAMESPACE -DQT_NO_COMPAT -DQT_NO_ASCII_CAST -c libkonq_la_closure.cc -fPIC -DPIC -o .libs/libkonq_la_closure.o libtool: link: warning: library `/opt/kde2/lib/libkparts.la' was moved. libtool: link: warning: library `/opt/kde2/lib/libkparts.la' was moved. libtool: link: cannot find the library `/usr/lib/libkfile.la' make[2]: *** [libkonq.la.closure] Error 1 Any one have any ideas about how to get past this? A note, I had to reinstall kde 1.1.2 related packages to get back my "normal" desktop. The above message was "recreated" by extracting kdelibs3 to /opt/kde2 (and getting rid of the ./usr portion of the path created). The kdelibs3 packages I am now uploading "install" to the normal places. Rick -- [EMAIL PROTECTED] [EMAIL PROTECTED]
