KDE 2.0.1 is now starting on my box. I used update-alternatives to remove the entry pointing to /usr/bin/kwin and replaced it with one pointing to /usr/bin/kde2.
It'd be interesting to know how this one got munged.. since it appears /usr/bin/kde2 is still the file that should be executed to start KDE. Gordon Morehouse [EMAIL PROTECTED] www.evernex.com
