This is a problem with the potato packages that was acknowledged before: enbeo[~](6) : dpkg -S kmenuedit.so kdebase-dev: /usr/lib/kmenuedit.so So apt-get install kdebase-dev will solve this for now, if you don't mind the download + disk space; otherwise get kmenuedit.so manually. Bart
