there seems to be a bug in kdm preventing it from reading /etc/X11/kdm/Xresources* :
kdm[1965]: can't execute "XBINDIR/xrdb" (err 2) my system: Debian woody linux 2.2.18 kdm 2.1.0-0.potato3 xfree86-common 4.0.2-1 xserver-svga 3.3.6-31 on another system at work with debian potato and pure Xfree 3.3.6, this doesnt't show up. Radu
