As an update to an earlier post, the most recently version of
libfreetype6 in unstable (see below), DOES work with the latest KDE
packages from unstable and with anti-aliased fonts.   Note that this is
2.0.1.20010312, and NOT 2.0.1.20010308.

Also please note that the latest KDE packages (4:2.1.0.1-5)
automatically turns off the anti-aliased fonts, and moves the option
back into the Control Panel/Style panel.  Don't B&M before you go
looking for it as I almost did :D
