As an update to an earlier post, the most recently version of libfreetype6 in unstable (see below), DOES work with the latest KDE packages from unstable and with anti-aliased fonts. Note that this is 2.0.1.20010312, and NOT 2.0.1.20010308.
Also please note that the latest KDE packages (4:2.1.0.1-5) automatically turns off the anti-aliased fonts, and moves the option back into the Control Panel/Style panel. Don't B&M before you go looking for it as I almost did :D $ dpkg -s libfreetype6 Package: libfreetype6 Status: install ok installed Priority: optional Section: libs Installed-Size: 332 Maintainer: Anthony Fok <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> Source: freetype Version: 2.0.1.20010312-1 Replaces: freetype0, freetype1 Depends: libc6 (>= 2.2.1-2) Suggests: libfreetype6-dev Conflicts: freetype Description: FreeType 2 font engine, shared library files.
