I was have a same problem on my GeForce2MX. When I install Xfree4.0.2 from http://people.debian.org/~cpbotha/xf402_potato with original nVIDIA driver to 2.4.3 kernel and nVIDIA GLX to my ne Xs this promblem disappeared. Enjoy and Have Fun ;) Traged.
