When opening KDE as root I have am able to hear sound from my Creative ViBRA16X PNP card.
When open KDE as a normal user I get the following error msg: Error while initializing the sound driver: Can't start sound i/o I have added the user to the group 'audio'. What else am I missing? John Davidson
