I'm running testing with the KDE2.2.1 debs from unstable. Now I just wanted to make use of the KDE Printing System, but unfortunately some errors occured! First of all I configured the printer by hand, but whenever I wanted to print via KDE I got an error-message telling me that lpr is missused. It doesn't like the '-#1', I figured out... (I'm running with standard LPD) Then I tried to configure the printer via the KDE-tools, but when I have to select a printer, the lists of vendors and models are empty! I searched for packages that might contain the drivers - without success. Can anybody please help me get my Brother HL-820 (it works fine with linux, i work with it a long time now-so den't tell me that the printer's the problem: its not...) work with KDE? Thnx in advance!
