I posted earlier with some trials and tribulations regarding fonts, Helvetica, anti-aliasing, and the fact that some fonts are not available AAed.
I switch AAing off and everything is back to normal. My thought is that Adobe Helvetica is a standard -- a TrueType of PostScript version should exist somewhere.
