Although I am not really happy because I do not understand what is triggering this periodic disk access. (Yes, the access time must be written to disk, but that was true also the time before I did upgrade last time - introducing this behaviour.) > Especially if you use ReiserFS. Yes I do. I am using reiserfs for months now and I never had this effect before. Is it reiser specific? Access time handling is implemented in ext2 also...
