I'am using testing/woody with the following packages: ii kmail 2.2.2-14 Mail Client based on Qt and KDE ii xserver-xfree8 4.1.0-16 the XFree86 X server ii libqt2 2.3.1-22 Qt GUI Library (runtime version). KMail version is 1.3.2 It's running on top of a 2.4.18 kernel with wdm as a login manager. icewm as window manager. I tried under WindowMaker, no changes. This is what is in the .xsession-errors Creating link /home/alain/.kde/socket-minimax.elsass-dev.net. I already used it on a K6/400 but never without the other kde components I have no enough space on my hard drives ;) 384MB RAM but only 3GB HD... I restarted the X server, cleaned up /tmp... no use. Beside that i'm using a QT app: Opera, works normally, something at the KDE layer must be missing or not responding. What is doing KDE when not checking mail? Is the app polling something? -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to [EMAIL PROTECTED] with a subject of "unsubscribe". Trouble? Contact [EMAIL PROTECTED]
