I would like to set up two icons on the desktop that appear for all users, one for the floppy drive and one for the cdrom. I would like them to work with autofs.
I currently have autofs working. When I type "ls /floppy/floppy" I get a listing of the floppy contents. I tried adding a floppy icon to the desktop, using a device name of "/floppy/floppy". But when I click on the icon, Konqueror tries to open this bizarre URL: http://navigation.realnames.com/resolver.dll?action=navigation&realname=file%3A&charset=iso-8859-1&providerid=180&fallbackuri=http%3A//www.google.com/search%3Fq%3Dfile%253A Can anyone tell me how I can create the setup I want? A related question is where to put the file so the icon shows up for all users. Thanks. Mark
