Albert, It is update-menus. Typing update- and then hitting tab will give you a list of options that can be used with update. It might not update the kde menus, i'm not totally sure on what update-menus will actually update (I suspect it updates only the debain menus, but i'm most probably wrong lol). Hope this helps.
