The option has moved to the menu and is called "New message to mailing list". I run kmail in Swedish, and the menu entry is "Brev", which probably is "Letter" or something like that in english. Anyway, it is the second entry in the 6:th drop down menu from the left. ... I got the same surprise, a while ago. -- Karolina
