What the ./configure script does is build a small programme using qt and then test whether it has worked. If the two compilers are different - thats why it fails. > > So while i'm building whole kde, and want to fast made these, and not to > impresse by different version of compiler, i have last question how do > you think about problem may i experience? maybe more better will torture > my self with libqt for first step? Well, I've had lots of problems - most of which seem to have been due to mismatches and problems with the other debian libraries. Look at the various other posts in this list I have made over the weekend to see what. I still can't build kdepim and kdebindings and I am not sure my attempt at koffice has worked properly - I don't seem to have enough .deb files (only koffice and koffice-doc-html), and kdevelop has a whole load of error messages I still have to check up on. - -- Alan Chandler [EMAIL PROTECTED] -----BEGIN PGP SIGNATURE----- Version: GnuPG v1.2.1 (GNU/Linux) iD8DBQE92GIMuFHxcV2FFoIRAgEUAJ93JrtzreoIEw+CaRcndn3xJIappQCgtHun f4AC00B5bcEhXvR83UQ8qOE= =CxcQ -----END PGP SIGNATURE-----
