is this available somewhere? If not, I would probably compile this myself. What steps must be taken to achieve an optimized version for my Athlon? Do I have to tweak files in the debian subdirs or is something like CFLAGS/CXXFLAGS/LDFLAGS enough? How long will it probably take to compile (1.33GHz) with gcc-2.95.4? Or should gcc-3.2 be used in any case? How much space must be reserved on disk for the compilation?
