maybe you can then advise me on what keyboard model etc. I should be using to get russian keyboard working with 4.3.0 packages? This is a presario laptop so I wonder whether using "presario" as model is a good idea as it had issues with 4.2.1 . I am using pc101 model now, I believe I tried other ones... Somehow grp:alt_shift_toggle seems not to work. And also in kde 3.1 how do I make keyb layout manager work nicely with xkb? They seem to have issues cooperating... thanks much fedor.
