Ok I now have the following klipper setup: Ignore selection is checked, Seperate clipboard and selection radiobutton on. Now if I go to www.google.com and select som text from the homepage and press ctrl+c and then check the klipper history, nothing has happened at all. It doesn't copy the text to klipper at all. If I put focus on the search box and press ctrl-v to paste the text in, I get the last thing that was succesfully copied to the clipboard instead of the selected text which i ctrl-c'ed. (I am not mistaking selecting for ctrl-c, the selection method is disabled with the ignore selection option.) Oh BTW, I haven't disabled the ctrl-c hotkey in Konqueror or changed it. I just checked. :-) And using the edit->copy menu option gives the same result. I can ctrl-c from other apps. For instance right here in this email i can ctrl-c konqueror right here on this line and paste it into the search box. It works. If anything checking 'Ignore selection' has simplified the problem. It seems I can't copy stuff from any web text. I have even tried it with a completely new user on my system, and it doesn't work there either.
