great! finally a question that I a 2 month++ newbie can hopefully

anyway I checked your log file and the error is 'Caught signal 11.
Server aborting'
from what I understand to solve this issue, comment out/remove the
DPMS line in your XF86Config-4 file as shown below...
Section "Monitor"
Identifier "Generic Monitor"
HorizSync 30-60
VertRefresh 50-75
# Option "DPMS"
EndSection
