KDEInit could not launch 'kfmexec'

Greetings --

when I issue "kfmclient openProfile webbrowsing" I get "ERROR: Couldn't start 
konqueror from konqueror.desktop: KDEInit could not launch 'kfmexec'" -- any 
suggestions?
