Welcome to the noatun-always-crashes club. I gave up on noatun: 1. unstable since it's appearance in KDE (I never saw a version that caused no crash) 2. inconsistant front-end (playlist looks completely different than rest of it) 3. completely dependent on artsd (and actually who really _likes_ artsd?)
