Hello I changed from suse to Debian, via Knoppix. To my surprise putting xmodmap ~/.Xmodmap in the .xinitrc or .xsession file had no effect that is I have to execute this command every time I log in. However when I put the line xterm & into my .xsession file, it works every time I log in a xterm terminal is opened. Is there any solution? Thanks Uwe Brauer
