It makes everything quite inconvenient .. particularly editing web pages and trying to view (with reload) them in a parallel window. Check my comments to http://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=79025 It's related, but perhaps by user impact rather than actual bug in the code. Can you confirm that the ctrl-r / f5 (whatever shortcut you use) works in a different way to hitting the reload button on the toolbar and/or in a different way to hitting the 'go' button (it's an arrow icon on my konq, the doovy next to the Location: text box) or just hitting CR in there?
