I went down the apt-build path, it worked well for me. That is a nice little tool to use! I knew you could rebuild DEBs, but I'm a RPM refugee... I was quite used to rpm --rebuild, but atp-build's 'just fetch the damn devel packages' was nice. Sweet!

I'll just wait for the new koffice packages, who knows maybe I'll finally get a chance to play with krita...
