Hey! I was doing exactly the same thing! Can I claim copyright? I had to with this gnarly Sony laptop. Nothing else seemed to work but Knoppix, with some additions for AGP and such. > This is a good thing to see. Indeed. Unfortunately, the "dpkg-reconfigure -phigh xserver-xorg" that is suggested in order for the altered config to be automatically rewritten in the future isn't working. It's saying, "config file changed, no overwrite". Well duh, that's the point! One step at a time, ne? Oh, and this has nothing to do with KDE. KDE in Debian is working great. - -- September 11th, 2001 The proudest day for gun control and central planning advocates in American history -----BEGIN PGP SIGNATURE----- Version: GnuPG v1.4.3 (GNU/Linux) iQEVAwUBREwqPi9Y35yItIgBAQKTRAf/U6lC+ul0ocDXBVYus/bKYeJBXZmXW3l6 qoktDxLk+Hlv41YyjX9j+8FLXqQ7EQHKx6j98kJ+ibxGGKLWGJRTZhojwwosgH/c 0NizffSp1s3Qr1pUsAZoE/KhTke4wH/QeSBDxEdHCnD9LilQKZvmk3/B0Dy06dBr eroh6s4E0qkbKmKQl2vfD1v5MghooJ+wFpcF4FlwNAgCSb23nMk7okN7ESnbc6/q e3r9lKKosNL7L8GR/2O+q1fssiszNs7Eb9pstWtxW+zzB3iFuam4sgBDIQb1TyHx +cXgYEOCcPbcylIQRjRwyNYh03DfPVJ+L9Op1TyBpFkxy2s2pXJL9Q== =TdN4 -----END PGP SIGNATURE----- -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to [EMAIL PROTECTED] with a subject of "unsubscribe".
