Hi, Arthur, the symptoms indeed are the same as the ones you describe in your bug report. I tried to install ttf-bitstream-vera to see if I could see some improvement, I reinstalled ttf-dejavu to put back the Condensed fonts where they should be, then I purged ttf-bistream-vera. And strangely enough, this seems to have solved the problem. I must admitt that I have no clue why...
